The Information Society Project believes strongly in intellectual autonomy. The outcome of any research project is determined entirely by the individual fellow or fellows working on that project. In the interest of preserving the autonomy and diversity that are so essential to our mission, our funding model does not permit outside institutions to dictate the results of any research agenda or the nature of events. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of our fellows’ work, in pursuit of scholarly goals and the protection of the public interest.
